Reopening Update
Hello everyone, we hope you are all well and keeping safe. WE HAVE MISSED YOU.
With reopening just around the corner, we wanted to quickly let you know what we are doing to make sure we keep you all safe whilst visiting us and how we’re exceeding the government’s guidelines. As some of you will know Yiayias means Grandma and everything we do is about making you feel welcome and part of the family…. and we take keeping you, our extended family, safe very seriously! Whilst of course continuing to give you the freshest and best ingredients around in our dishes… Just like our yiayia used to.
Some of our new procedures will be:
– There is now a minimum of 2m between every outside table, as well as at least 1.5m between tables inside. We have exceeded the government’s minimum of 1m as your safety is important to us.
– We have a new app, Hopt, to order drinks from your tables.
– All of our menus are disposable
– There are now glass collection points
– There are plenty of sanitising stations throughout
– We have outside toilets and an outside bar
– The Yiayias front of house team will be wearing gloves and masks, and have their temperatures checked daily
– All of your tasty food is cooked by our team of chefs who will also be wearing masks and gloves, and will have their temperatures checked daily
– All of the team will confirm that they have had no COVID-19 symptoms before being allowed to work
– The children’s play area will not be accessible
– Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the cabana area
– We will continue to show all sports and will be offering socially distanced tables to watch the games
– Table booking is now mandatory and we will be operating a first come first serve process. You can book by calling us on 01252 716395 or via our website yiayias.co.uk
– As before, due to licensing restrictions, our garden closes at 9pm prompt
With a lot of change comes challenges, I am sure. All we ask of you is for your understanding and that you follow these guidelines to help us to keep everyone safe. We can’t wait to see you all and are looking forward to this weekend.
